Grandio disc multicolor: Aesthetic restorations at the touch of a buttonLong-term restorations should not only be reliably stable, but also meet high demands in terms of a natural appearance that satisfies the patient. Digital prosthetics impresses with first-class results here, as even the smallest details can be worked out with computer support. For particularly esthetic restorations, VOCO offers Grandio disc multicolor, a color extension of the nanoceramic hybrid material Grandio disc: The multicolor shading imitates the color gradient of natural teeth from the incisal edge to the tooth neck - and with just three layers. The special composition of the material ensures a particularly pronounced chameleon effect through the reflection and absorption of light, which allows the individual layers in the restoration to blend into one another, creating a highly esthetic color gradient. The optical adaptation to the adjacent teeth and the overall esthetic appearance also benefit from this effect.Invisible-Layer-TechnologyThe restorative material is divided into three layers: one incisal, one basic tooth shade and one for the cervical area. The shading of the Grandio disc multicolor gives the restoration a very lively appearance, which is achieved with only these three layers due to the material properties (Invisible Layer Technology). The VITA shade system was selected to determine the correct shade: Grandio disc multicolor is available in the six shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1 and C2.Indications Like the monochromatic material,Grandio disc multicolor has a thickness of 15 mm and a diameter of 98 mm. It is indicated for the fabrication of single-tooth restorations such as crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and implant-supported crowns.About Grandio discThe polymerized Grandio blocs/disc products set new standards with their far above-average material strength: with 86 % filler content, the material is the most highly filled in its class. The biaxial flexural strength also achieves values that are otherwise only found in silicate ceramics, although Grandio blocs/disc are considerably more antagonist-friendly. The discs can be processed within the milling units in the same way as Grandio disc in the monolithic LT and HT shades. An overview of the numerous Trusted Partners can be found at www.voco.dental.
