Biocompatible, stable and bacteria-proof pulp protection is essential for preserving the vitality of the pulp. With MTA vpt, VOCO offers a mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) material that is designed precisely for this purpose. Within Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT), MTA vpt can be used for underfilling, indirect and direct capping as well as for the restoration of the pulp after a vital amputation (partial or complete pulpotomy). As part of caries management, residual carious dentin can be reliably covered.
MTA vpt releases calcium and hydroxide ions during setting, which stimulates the body's own regenerative processes and the formation of tertiary dentin. The resulting high pH value is known for its bacteriostatic effect and supports remineralization. In this way, MTA vpt creates a stable and bacteria-proof protective barrier - the optimum basis for maintaining the vitality of the pulp.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
